Dianetics

Dianetics, from the Greek stems dia meaning "through," and nous meaning "mind", is the practice of linking perception and reality more than subconsciously. Unlike ESP or psionics which rely on physical abnormalities in a brain, Dianetics can be achieved by anything that is self-aware. It requires an understanding of oneself and the universe, though some are more naturally talented than others. Hubbards largely non aggressive personality results in few offensive skills.

Hubbard was the first human to achieve Dianetic power beyond a pseudo-understanding experienced by monks and philosophers, taught directly by Zenu who remains the undisputed master of the art. Hubbard was the second person to ever breach the Wall of Fire, the name for the barrier that prevents beings in the universe from perceiving reality as if from outside of the universe, temporarily ceasing to be limited by the physical and becoming metaphysical: seeing not the illusion of reality but pure truth itself. From this process, he achieved the unique Dianetic techniques 'Illusion of Death' and 'Forever.'

Hubbard's Dianetic Techniques (D.T):

'Illusion of Death'- Hubbard has completely separated himself from the cycle of mortality. Under no circumstances can his spirit be reincarnated or destroyed, but will continue with a singular consciousness for all eternity. This is a reflection of his innate belief that he does not deserve to be cleansed of his failures in any way. Only Hubbard has this technique and it cannot be taught. If the body he exists in is utterly destroyed, his spirit will be free to move to another suitable vessel- either a prepared mechanical construct like his own or an organism without a spirit.

'Forever'- Creates an indestructible and completely immobile wall of D.T energy that can resist absolutely any force; the rhetorical immovable object made real.

'D.T Stop'- Freezes an object or person in time. The more energy he uses, the longer this lasts.

'D.T Wall'- Creates a wall of force that will repel anything that possesses less energy than that used to create the wall.

'D.T Barrier'- Wraps an object in energy similar to D.T Wall.

'D.T Heal'- Accelerates natural healing without costing the original organism any cellular lifespan.

'D.T Repair'- Recreates an object (including organisms) as they once were, transcending natural healing. Cannot place a spirit that has left.

'D.T Move'- Moves objects through space.

'D.T Teleport'- Transplants objects locations without traveling through space.

'D.T Reflect'- Creates a barrier that reverses energy instead of negates it.

'D.T Reveal'- Allows Hubbard to understand another's thoughts.

'D.T Project'- Allows others to understand Hubbard's thoughts.

'D.T Conceal'- Allows Hubbard to hide his presence.

'D.T Call'- Allows long distance communication.

'D.T Banish'- Sends an opponent to a random, safe location.

'D.T Heat'- Increases the temperature in a small area.

'D.T Cool'- Decreases the temperature in a small area.

'D.T Heavy'- Increases the effect of gravity on an object.

'D.T Crush'- Massively increases the effect of gravity on an object.

'D.T Positive'- Positively charges an object.

'D.T Negative'- Negatively charges an object.

'D.T Reset'- Removes the effects of other D.T on an object.

'D.T Accelerate'- Increases an object in motion's speed.

'D.T Mind Up'- Increases another person's inner focus.

'D.T Body Up'- Increases another person's strength.

'D.T Harden'- Increases another person's durability.

'D.T Cleanse'- Removes impurities from a person's body.
